...f-made man, the great American character—Jay Gatsby. In its infancy, the novel received only a taste of the “epic grandeur” that it would later accumulate. Snubbed by certain critics for its all-too-perfect design and shrugged aside by the popular masses, The Great Gatsby was a feat of fiction that, in its time, never knew its fame. My imaginary world is a sort of utopia, if you like. It is a place where all are equal and equally respected regardless of race, colour, religion, beliefs, faith and family. It is a place where everyone is safe wherever they go and fear is non-existent. It is a place of spectacular beauty, of rolling hills and widespread bushland. Beautiful flowers are in bloom everyday of the year and the wildlife is friendly and harmless. The weather is perfect everyday with bright sunshine and frequent rainfalls.
