...ouch. Oh! Look, Spot just left you a magnificent present on your front porch, a dead squirrel! Just what you’ve always wanted, right? After taking an hour to clean up the trail of fur and blood left on your driveway all you want to do is spend some quality time with your pillow, but once again Spot has left you, yet, another surprise. There lies your favorite pair of sneakers, ripped to shreds lying in a puddle of drool. Those two paychecks were well worth it, for about 3 weeks. Sure, some say “My dog is a saint! He would never do such a things.” No, no, no of course not. So, I guess you are also saying you have never been awakened in the middle of the night from Spot’s impatience to wait until morning for a brisk walk? I also suppose Spot has never ate little Jimmy’s birthday cake when no one was looking? No dog is perfect, and no dog is a best friend. A week later you get the best night’s sleep in a good long time, but it comes at a cost. Not a whimper, not a peep, not even a bark is coming from the kennel. You hurry down to see what all the non-commotion is all about, only to find that your ‘Best-friend’ has decided you were too slow to get up and went on a walk for his own.
