The 2 major problems that the British forced were that they were still fighting the Indians and they were in debt from their other wars. They raised the colonists taxes to help pay off debts. Britain was far away so it made it difficult to supply and mobilize troops. The French and the Indians helped the colonists and the colonists won the key battles. The British government was decisive at the time and made poor decisions. In San Domingue there were many more slaves than slave owners a slave rebellion began.
