...e turns to me and says “Did you take your excuse to the secretaries in the office?” I nod my head yes and look down at feet and wonder what would happen if we got caught. Getting so encompassed with the thought of imagination I begin to think I can feel air blowing down the back of my neck from my principles nostrils, who knows something is not right. You see my principle already has it out for me, not only from the outrageous antics we decided to pursue in years past, but also from the fact that I decided to ride my bike, on his first day in his new position, in a blue one piece spandex out fit and park it in a parking spot. The bell rings and it’s time for the first period of the day. Thankfully its art and I can express my frustration to the rest of the guys who were in on the day’s events. They tell me that they are feeling the same nervousness, but coincide the fear with convincing ourselves that we planned it out so perfect that there is no way we could even get recognized. The plan was to go accordingly; two of us, Chris and I, had “doctors” appointments at different times and Marcello, growing up had a lot of problems with esophagus and gets sick on a usual basis, was supposed to complain that his throat was starting to hurt and that he didn’t quiet feel very well. Chris was the first person to get out with his forged excuse, then Cello and then myself (of course I was the last to go). After Chris got out he was supposed to pack the essentials for the trip. Once he was ready he was supposed to call Cello and give him the cue to give his sickness excuse. Now it was all up to me. A few periods from the end of the day and I was ready to finish the hard part. I presented my teacher my excuse and went to the office to sign out. On the way down the hall my nervousness started to come into play. I started to think of everything that could go wrong. What if this… and what would happen if. My heart started to pound so loud that I felt like there was a bass drum inside of my rib cage playing the tune of jaws. I slowly opened the door and took a deep breath and kindly walked up to the secretary and told her I had to leave for an appointment.
