...ss, a woman that lived across the tracks from the boys home where the murder took place, had indentations on her nose, the kind left from glasses. In the woman’s testimony she stated that “she could not sleep because of the intense heat and when she glanced out of the window to see the boy stab his father through the passing train. The fact that most people don’t sleep with the glasses on to prevent breaking them and also for comfort, hence the woman couldn’t have had the time to put on her glasses and see the murder. Another incident was the old man that lived down stairs. In his testimony he stated that, “ he heard the boy say, “I’m going to kill you.” to his father and then he heard the loud thump of a body hitting the floor”. Since the train was passing by during the murder the man couldn’t have possibly heard all of the commotion through the tremendous noise created by the passing train.
