It is almost impossible that people can afford waiting for him or her to develop such skills on how to revive national economy. Therefore leader is elected or chosen by people because people think he or she is capable to tackle different situations. Secondly, those who successfully lead the group to fulfill the demands win respect and confidence from others and, in turn, will be relied on as leader consequently. An example in real life is the president Bill Clinton who took position in 1992 and was elected as president again after four-years tour of duty. During 1992 and 1996, US economy enjoyed a boom and meanwhile the lowest unemployment in the last few decades because Bill is highly-capable president whose policies proved to be smooth and effective. Because of that, he was elected to be president again. After the eight years of his presidency, Japan, European Union, which were once considered as potential competitors of US, have been far behind US until now. This example fully demonstrates my point that someone is relied on as a leader when he or she fulfils people's demands. True, some events or circumstances can endow a leader with a brand-new capacity, yet, we must bear in mind that such potentials do exist before these events. In this sen...
