Although this would take awhile, it could be done, but this would continue on for centuries if need be. I think that his addresses on the future progress of the race of America will involve more obstacles to overcome, just as Du Bois talks about the progression of race and the obstacles that will come during that progress now and in the future. The Freedmen’s Bureau, which Du Bois states did not generate its problems and failures from the southern opposition, rather to the mismanagement and biased system involved in the courts, leads me to believe that he understood the situation on both aspects on what was happening in there. The successes led by the Bureau which helped the African American Community by establishing schools, homes, and new aspects for the African American community widened their horizons for the future. I think that this aspect which would increase the education services offered by the Bureau would significantly impact the African American community by offering them new chances and future goals to look forward to.
