It can be seen that most people just used 1 or 2 type of public transport. There juts are few people use 0, 3 or 4 types public transport. Figure 2 This pie char indicate the percentage of people who need to use the public transport everyday. It can be seen that most people need to use public transport everyday. Figure 3 This pie chart points out the percentage of people¡¯s income to use for public transport. That can be clearly seen that most people used 0-2% of income to pay for the public transport fees. Only few people used 9-11% of income to pay for the public transport fees. Figure 4 This graph represents the people¡¯s attitude to the public transport. Most of people believe that buses fees are high, also there are many people don¡¯t mind the price of monorails. There just are few people feeling the price of public transport is low. Many people feel the price of public transport is suitable. Figure 5 Figure 5 depicts the times people spent for waiting for public transport. 6-10 min is chose at most ( 50% ). Follow by 0-5 min ( 20% )and 11-15 min ( 17.5% ) are chose. At least is 16-20 min (12.5% ). Figure 6 Figure 6 shows that the kind of ticket people used. There are 18 people used ¡®weekly ticket¡±. Follow by is return ticket which is 8 people. And then are ¡°travel ten¡± and ¡°single ticket¡± which are 6 and 5 people. There only are 3 people use ¡°monthly ticket¡±, However there is none use ¡°Quarterly ticket¡± and ¡°yearly ticket¡±. Discussion Major Findings The majority of people who use 1 type of transport are overwhelmingly greater than other people who use 0, 2, 3 and 4 types of transport each trip. Objectively, almost half of interviewees need to spend more than 15% of there income for public transport per week. Considerably more interviewees choose to use weekly tickets than the numbers of people tend to use other types of tickets. Approximately two thirds of people need to wait for public transport for 6 to 10 min, especially in peak hour. Statements Amount of types of public transport on each trip According to the chart, there is a clear fact exist that numerous people use only one type of public transport in each trip, which is still remained ahead of other data. As the chart indicates, approximately 52.5% interviewees use one type of transport while 32.5% and 10.0% people use two or three types of public transport. It is reasonable that people prefer to choose using one type of public transport each trip. Although may be transferring from one type to another can save time, people like to choose to use one type which is the most convenient way to do. Thus, this chart clear shows that convenience is the determinant of choosing public transport. Percentage of income spend on public transport Figure 3 illustrates that almost half of interviewees need to spend more than 15% of there income for public transport per week. The reason cause this result is that capital expenditure and management cost is still higher. For instance, student concession, student school rail pass, elder tickets. Actually numerous types of concession tickets may course the high fare on public transport. Preferred type of tickets As the figure 4 displays, more interviewees choose to use weekly tickets than the numbers of people tend to use other types of tickets.
