Without our dreams our lives are empty
...xaggerated. For example on that show the OC everything gets taken too far. It’s the same case for Neighbours and Home & Away, a link is made between these television shows and reality. True emotion is hidden through all this exaggeration. The truth can be painful but dreaming is not always reality, it’s not as easy as it sounds. Dreams are always good to have and amazing but in the end its not how it ends up getting your dream come true, its more of how you are going to do it. Teenagers complain about their lives and think it is all too hard and take it all too serious. Brendan Gill once said “Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.” He is absolutely right, life wasn’t made to be serious. I think it was made to have the fun and the time of your life! They don’t need dreams they just need a little hope. Everyone just needs hope. It shouldn’t all be so serious. But this is just my opinion, some people need dreams to keep them going, others are dependent on medication to keep them going and others need drugs. Either way without our dreams our lives are certainly not empty. Here in Australia, we are so lucky to have freedom and be able to do what we want because in other countries that’s all they dream about, even if they cannot achieve that they keep on...
