However, some people felt God intended them to learn more about the world and what individuals could do to contribute to the world. This was a very important turning-point in the Renaissance because now people believed that the world centred around man and not God. It opened interest in a wide variety of topics which could otherwise have remained undiscovered. The talents of man were now being used, thanks to the Renaissance. Interest in many topics were now being discovered, such as art, architecture, literature, science and medicine to name but a few. Artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci and Michaelangelo contributed greatly to the Renaissance. Leonardo Da Vinci actually planned many inventions and was very interested in how things worked. Great progress was also made in printing. Gutenberg invented a much improved style of printing which enabled people to be better educated, as more information was able to be circulated.
