...got out and found people walking on the sidewalk who saw what had happened and asked them to be the witness. It was not our fault we were driving within the speed limit that was posted and the signal was green for us and she just took a left turn. The people who she called as witnesses knew who’s mistake it was when the police came but the witnesses were saying it was our fault. They were being racist because we were a different color. The police then gave us a ticket which we later went to the court to argue about. Even if the people know whose fault it is they will point at someone else who is the innocent one. After the September 11 attacks one of my Muslim friend went to KFC on a Tuesday night to buy some food, he was wearing clothes of his culture and covered his face with a scarf. While walking on the way home the police approached him and told him to put his food down and turn around after they told him to take his scarf off they realized it was a teenager and then said sorry to him. When you are in high school you want to stick with people from your country, so you leave others alone who are not your background. This is a sign of rascism having others excluded from your group even if they do hang around with you they will be made fun of all the time and be picked on. This then brings people to start a fight with this group of people which will then leave to violence. In high school people are pressured by their friends into doing things. Violence is everywhere you hear about it on the news. Most fights are fought between two other races, when you don’t like someone, or they are talking crap or they like the same girl you do you just go and start a fight with them.
