The major reason for this choice is the high cost of purchasing a commercial apartment in the downtown place. This part of people also contributes a high portion to the traffic flow in the peak time of each day. Thirdly, although the high pace of the construction of the city transit system is keeping up constantly, it still falls behind the growth of the city, and could not afford the heavy traffic load in the peak moments. It results in the situation that people who take subway to work feel that the subway is much more crowded than ever before, and people who drive to work have to wait longer when they are blocked in the traffic jam.
