The music industry has also mentioned that it is the other employees who are effected, set designers, the photographers, the artistic directors, and etc. Their needs to be a reevaluation of haow the music ondustry distributes their money. I think they need to see to a different structure of salary distribution if those emplyees are so highly affected. Music entertainers seem to be doing fine financially. For example, it is hard to watch entertainers walk around with a thousand dollar handbag, 7 cars and complaining about their paycheck when the majority of society will neve see that much money in a lifetime. I know their are a lot more factors in the music industry than just the entertainer and us. Another justifible reason is that CD-R's are cheaper than ever and the free-swapping services for both music and movies are convienant. We shop for convienance and availability and if it availiable for the majority, people will take advantage of it. I have also realized that the market is expanding while the consumer base has not. The industry, both music and movie, will always have their loyal conusumers, most people will still buy the original CDs so the market is not losing out on them, it is just not expanding as quickly as they expected. With technology advanicing every minute, it is hard to determine consumers spending habits when everything is available on the computer with no cost. The CD-R, CD burner, DVD burner companies have also provided thousands of jobs and has itself helped the work force so it is hard to give justice to one party.
