...olidays. All associates will be offered 10 paid holidays and 2 additional days for their use as needed for vacation. These 2 floating holidays will be taken at the choice of the associates for personal reasons. In the past, Eastwood provided Christmas Eve and Good Friday as paid holidays, but it was estimated that 35 percent of its workforce is not Christian. This change will allow for freedom to take days off taking into consideration the inclusion of the religious beliefs of all of its associates. Vacation: Each associate will receive one week of paid vacation for their first year of service after which they will receive three weeks of paid vacation. It is recommended not to offer three weeks of vacation for new hires until they have proven themselves during their initial tenure. After five years and each year after an associate will receive an additional day of paid vacation. For example, an associate entering their sixth year will receive 16 days vacation; an associate entering their tenth year of service will receive 20 days of vacation. Bereavement: Associates will receive up to three paid days off for the death of a spouse, parent, or child. Jury Duty: In addition to the stipend provided by the government for jury duty, associates will also be paid their full pay by Eastwood.
