The black’s gangs have fallen in status since the 1960’s civil rights movement when the organization of the gangs fell (Landre). Though the black gangs are feared the most because of their harsh intimidation, corporate gangs are the deadly and criminal gangs around. Corporate gangs are usually well stocked in members and have a respectable stand in society. These gangs rely highly on business and criminal transportation. The distribution of drugs usually starts with a corporate gang. The only thing these kind of gangs are looking to do is to increase there profit on their product. Because of their criminal intent and greed they will go to far extents to increase their profit. Corporate gangs have the highest number of deaths per gang then any other kind of gang because of the level of risk and deceit that comes from dealing with high society criminals (Stark). Violence is what breeds from these corporate gangs. Since the drug laundering that these gangs deal with are illegal, the gangs have to keep a certain level of secrecy so that no heat, attention from the police, is attracted (Nawojczyk). Since there is a great deal of risk and preparation for such drug deals to go on the gang must be organized. That is why the corporate gangs are the most dangerous and deadly gangsters, members of a gang, around today (Gangs Frequent). Gangs are highly involved in the business through the means of drug distribution and money laundering. The main source of income that gangs receive is through drug distribution. Since drugs are illegal on a legitimate market, they are sold at an extremely low price if bought in weight. Since gangs are made up of large amount of members the money income needs to be sufficient so the gangsters could receive their payment cut. If dealing with large amounts of drugs a dealer can sell in smaller amounts to minute dealers to turn profit easily through taxing, charging more money then what paid the product (Nawojczyk). Most of the major drug dealers will well their product for a tenth of what the next drug dealer would get it for. Since the distribution of drugs is illegal, the amount of transportation and safety is added to the price for the drugs. Safety and transportation is highly paid for because of the level of risk involved (Landre). Since these gangs have to deal with large amounts of drugs to turn profit, more drugs are brought on the street for the sake of gang survival. If the distribution of drugs were total ceased, then the amount of gangs would diminish quickly (Gangs). Some gangs are even identified through what drugs they sell (Stewart). Though drugs are mainly sold to turn profit and to earn money, drugs are also used because of habitual addictions acquired from abusive drug usage. Because of the high level of addiction most drugs posses, users will find themselves unable to control their drug intake. These addictions are the reason why drugs are so highly used in the United States today. Gangs exploit this flaw by selling these drugs to these users knowing that they will come back (Parents). Since the greatest percentage of drug user in the world today is teenagers, gangs already have access their peers. Gangs use business to control their organization and to self progress, ultimately corrupting our society to do immoral actions. Gangs have influenced teens to join because they are the future. Gang leaders will focus their recruiting on teens because of the gullibility and pressure that teens go through today. Peer pressure has the greatest affect on teens today. Since most of the gangsters are made up of teens, it is looked upon as a cool thing to do (Gangs Fact).
