Why I chose to become an Educator
...ers. They began teaching us so much at such an early age. As I furthered my education, my elementary teachers took so much time out to help me whenever I needed help. As a result, I began thinking as a young girl of what I wanted to be when I grew up. Its not just about job security or long summer vacations, but knowing what an impact you have had on a child's life as well as education. I want to avail myself to my students at any time of the day or night for whatever needs they may have. I have been involved in the youth ministry at my church and different camps dealing with youth since my mid-teens. It is such a great passion and desire that I have to inspire the lives of others. I believe I will be the type of teacher where there is no such grade as a failing grade. If it means me scheduling some one on one time with the students to help them understand then that is what I will have to do.
