...on an unforgettable conflict in Keller dining room leads to success – Helen folds her napkin and eats with a spoon. One day, Annie decides to separate Helen from her family to teach her. During two weeks in a garden house Helen continues to reject Annie; however, her jealousy to Viney overcomes and she accepts Annie as a teacher. When they return from the garden house, Helen begins to test her teacher and ignore her rules. Despite all this behavior Annie takes Helen to the water pump where she, finally, spells her first word WATER. The Movie followed the Play almost closely. Director added and cut some moments to make the Movie more interesting to watch. The main characters in the Play are Helen, Annie, Kate and Keller. Helen is a blind and deaf child. She struggles against all who love her and try to help. She is a stubborn and angry girl, but at the same time she is a smart and she is willing to know things. Annie Sullivan has a strong personality. She knows what she wants and tries to get it. Annie knows what it is to be blind, so she finds a way to communicate with Helen and make her feel like a seeing person. I like her and admire her. Kate loves and pity Helen. She is a wise woman because she persuades Keller to leave Annie with Helen. I think I am more like her because she acts with emotions. Bec...
