More than Pleasure

Following Plato¡¯s suggestion, many people may be cheated since they are not able to learn the way of defraud from their own experience. Another thing Plato neglected is that other¡¯s views and thoughts are also parts of the world, and the best way to learn these is through arts. In addition, arts have become much closer to the real world now, compared to Plato¡¯s era. Photography, for instance, records a real scene, and has been treated as a form of art. People can see the world from a different angle, and may understand the world better. Reality movies and TV programs are other examples, which is very useful for us to understand what happened, especially when we can not be at the specific place at the specific time.
