Othello is not just having the strength, courage and assertiveness as any other hero, but he had also more desirable attitudes and traits that extend his position against his rivals. The strength of Othello character becomes obvious when he deal with the rivals who contrast the righteous of Othello. Beside, the courage of Othello when he stand against all these in a faced with racial discrimination. The problems get bigger when he got married. He Othello’s love life is often prejudiced also as an inter-racial relationship and viewed as perverted, sub-human and with an uncontrollable appetite. Othello was not always taking the right decision, he trusted Iago who prove that he did not deserved that trust and Othello put it in the wrong hand. This indicates how Othello is obsessed by loyalty and honor, this obsession is expressed by Bradley. Eventually this leads Othello to his end. As an important military figure, Othello’s courage is of the highest importance in keeping his reputation and position integral. Therefore, Othello’s character not only allows him to achieve the respect and adversity that tragic heroes usually encounter, but it is also the very essence of what gives him the opportunity to become so well-respected in the first place. To make the events of tragic hero well known, the hero must have fortunate position in right time and right place. Othello had a romantic interest which is a common personality among heroes. He is deeply in love with his secret wife Desdemona. This romantic interest helps in building Othello's character. The two parts of tragic flow in Othello are trust and jealousy. With these two the end of Othello is certain.
