The mad haunted eyes and black blooded mouth, the rending figures, threaded with blood, and the ravaged figure in their grasp is absolutely horrifying. Goya emphasizes the gruesomeness by the torn and jagged body. Saturn glares in lunatic frenzy while devouring a part of the body, his eyes are huge and bulging as if he is mad. The angle that Saturn is painted on is as if he has just been caught by a photo. In Rwanda Maconde there is a man with three expression pain, shame and duty. This is painted with three different faces in motion. He is holding a rifle in his arms which is un-proportioned, they are elongated. His clothing seems to be his skin, a leopard print or camouflage.
