There needs to be background checks on the people who are buying firearms. Volokh summarizes prior arrest data for homicide offenders from the report, Felony Defendants in Large Urban Counties, 1998: 81% of all homicide defendants have at least one arrest on their record.66% have two or more arrests. 67% have at least one felony arrest. 56% have two or more felony arrests. 70% have at least one conviction. 54% have at least one felony conviction. That is proof that if they had been checks 81% of homicides in large urban counties could have been prevented. Another aspect to consider is the sport of hunting. People won't be able to hunt. Nothing would control animal population. Hunters kill animals for food and it controls their population. There would be more people hitting animals. There would be more animals in town and around houses. They would be eating our garbage and plants and stuff. There would be more animals so they would have less food leading them to come into towns.
