Why I Believe People Should Go To Church And Believe In God

...hings are possible. What do these have to do with us today? I have two friends who both have had miracles in their lives. My friend, Pam, was diagnosed with leukemia about 9 years ago. She went to the Cleveland Clinic for treatment and stayed for months, leaving her children, her home, and friends. Pam was thought to be in remission, and then the disease came back. This time, when she went to Cleveland, she had to have a bone marrow transplant from her brother, Scott. After this transplant, she has been healed completely. Now you might be thinking, it was the transplant that healed her. I, on the other hand, believe that it was a miracle of God. I also know a lady who had breast cancer. What could be a worse disease to a woman, than losing both breasts to cancer? Imagine this, that the day you are to go to Cleveland yourself for treatment of breast cancer, you had to bury your mom on that very same day for dying of breast cancer. Wouldn't you feel like you didn't even stand a chance for survival? But Jane's faith held on. Jane was prayed for at our church when she left and, yes she had the surgery, but there is no evidence of cancer in her body. The doctors say it is a miracle I believe it too. These miracles let me know that when I need a miracle, there is one waiting for me, too. I guess the thing about church that I love the most, is the love I feel there. You even will want to pray for people you don't really care that much about, because when you are a Christian, you will love them in spite of what they are or what they do. At church, you can always find someone who you would want to be like when you grow up. There is a very special lady at my church who sings, is married and has two children, Alexis and Zachary. She is a great mom. She disciplines her children with love, and you can tell that even at there tender ages, they not only love her, but they respect her. She came to church for a while without her husband, but slowly he began to come with her. She kept praying for him, and now her home is a Christian home and they look so happy. My friends name is Susan. Susan is always saying encouraging things to me, she sends me cards, and gives me a little hug just when I need it. She always has the sweetest smile. Also, Susan wouldn't hesitate to tell me, don't look at me, always keep your eyes on Jesus. Other than Susan, there are many other people I look up to. For example, Coach Boyd. Coach Boyd sings with my parents and by himself. I have watched Wally through the years, ever since I was a little girl. I watched him coach Oak Hill's Baseball team, Senior League Baseball and Little League Teams, and of course, those Mustangs He is competitive, but always has a witness for Christ. He stands tall above many, praying after each football game. He cares about the team, but he loves his God more. He is faithful to church and is a great husband to Barbara, and a wonderful Dad to Matt and Drew. He doesn't gossip, doesn't lie and is never two faced. You can ...
