...erefore refuse to vote. I believe that some people do not vote because of transportation problems. The elderly and also the very poor people might have problems getting to the poles or paying for a ride. The third reason I think people do not vote is due to lack of concern. Hopefully, more people will be concerned in the future and show up to vote. I think it is our responsibility as citizens to instill in our children the importance of voting. First, I believe that some people do not vote because they are not impressed with the candidates. Unfortunately today in our society, many politicians are looked at as crooks. This is the image that is given off by many government leaders across the United States. I think that a lot of people in our country have the image of corrup leaders andTherefore choose no to vote. I think htat citizens should do a better job of being infored and then surely they will be able to find a candidate that is better than the other. In conclusiton, I think the biggest reason that voters do not turn out at the polls is because of lack of conern. I beleive that a lot of citizens are lazy and take for granted our rights to vote. I think a lot of them have their minds that their one vote will not make a difference, and this is definitely not the issu...
