The first twenty pages of this chapter contained a vast variety of facts informative figures and revealing statistics. These facts, figures and statistics were very beneficial as it dealt directly with the topic of this research. Some facts published in this book that helped to prove this researches hypothesis included that ‘More people are assisted by other charitable, community based and church related organizations then are assisted by government organizations’. The second chapter of this book deals solely with Youth homelessness. It deals with the varying issues with child homelessness, street children, life on the streets, Living rough, the stories behind the numbers, recounts of parents with homeless children, Preventing crime and victimization among young homeless people and Youth homelessness: The big picture. This proved to be an interesting aspect that was easily incorporated into the research. On a whole the book dealt with what is the extent of 'hidden' homelessness, The profiles of people who are without safe and secure shelter are many and varied - abuse, mental illness, addiction.
