He avoids most of the family conflict through his work schedule. He is a devoted father, an understanding ex-husband, and a loving fiancé. Luke lacks the assertiveness of handling a problem head on; his philosophy is to stay positive and it will all work out in the end. Although he stays in the background, just when you think things are going to fall apart he holds them together. Anna and Ben Harrison are two children caught in an emotional storm.
