English people living in England,so naturally everyone has English accents.Because most of the characters are or want to be upper-class,their accents are very formal.But one character is different:the Bennet sisters father,p;ayed bu US actorDonald Sutherland,has bad English accent and sounds very American.The actors speak very clearly,but that does not make the difficult words easier! If you want to improve your conbersation skills,this is not the best film to watch because the language is old-fashioned.But if you want to read classic English literature ,this film will help to get you ready!
