River Bend Narrative/Descriptive

Narrative/Descriptive Essay I would for like you to join me on a journey through a place I call my home away from home. As I start out on my ride to River Bend unaccompanied, I think of the many people I know that retreat there and think of those that might be at the campground this weekend. “I know Trish and Burhan will be there this weekend, I can’t wait to see them,” I tell myself. After the short but well anticipated drive through the mountains of western Maryland, the white and blue sign is just up ahead, “Welcome to West Virginia, Wild, and Wonderful. ” The anxiety sets in, “I’m almost there. ” I say to myself, “Just a few more exits and I know all my troubles and stresses I deal with on a day to day basis are gone with the wind. I know this will be an exceptional weekend!
