GCSE My Fantasy Dinner
Hi my name is Zaria, for my fantasy dinner, I would invite, my late grandfather who passed away before I was born, Mother Teresa, and Begum Rukiyah. My grandfather would be an interesting guest for me. I would like to have known him personally. He was a teacher by profession, but his hobby was handicrafts and he was a gifted carpenter. I have seen some of the interesting artefacts he has produced, as a token of affection for my grandmother he crafted their bed. He also made an exquisite sideboard, which is still with my uncle. I would like to have asked him how he spent his youth and what occupied his time. My father tells me he enjoyed eating. I would like to show him how even the simplest meal these days consists of ingredients from all over the world, unlike his meals, which were made from local ingredients. My grandfather would have been fascinated by our modern day lives, and how things have changed so dramatically over the last few decades.
