The Anglo-Saxons
The founder of the Sui dynasty who was also the first emperor of the Sui dynasty. He named his dynasty Sui (his last name; his whole name is actually Sui Wen Di). He made Xian the capital (Xian is located in the province of Shaanxi). After the emperor settled down he had military plans such as expanding the size of the army. He had lots of struggles, including the captures of the Silk Road, the Turkish and the Korean wars. But he did the most an emperor ever did in one life time. Finally in 519, the Tang dynasty started their own dynasty. The next emperor, Emperor Yang, had troubles he couldn’t solve such as his army’s weakening. He didn’t get much done in his lifetime. He mainly continued his father’s projects and plans except in an impatient way.
