All in all, Mookie and Graham ultimately shared their skin color although they have a very vast difference in their lifestyle, Graham has proved that success is still possible despite being a minority while Mookie reveals the actual circumstances of the average minority . Other than their level of income, they also differ in their approach to racism: Mookie dealt with it more violently while Graham dealt with it peacefully . In my opinion, a more peaceful approach such as Graham’s would be better to deal with racism because it avoids any violence and therefore no loss of life which is exactly what happened to Mookie’s friend Radio Rahiem . Also, history has proven that the more peaceful approach to this issue, embodied by Martin Luther King Jr, was more superior and successful than Malcolm X’s violent approach .
