I am still researching within the Criminal Justice field, there are many opportunities available. I also want to be comfortable in my position and love what I do. My personal strengths are attitude and emotional intelligence. When working in an investigation profession a positive attitude is necessary when dealing with irate and distraught people. Emotional Intelligence is of equal importance, I will see a lot of crime scenes or investigate situation that might hits close to home and I need to maintain professionalism. Not letting your emotions get the best of you will help in making sure you can keep the involved individuals calm so they will be able to help in the investigation. Taking what I have learned in Human Relations 101, to work effectively with others in this profession. I must have high self-esteem, which involves self-efficacy , the confidence an individual has in her ability to deal with problems when they occur (Lowell H Lamberton, 2010, p. 36). Therefore I will know I am able to handle any situation.
