As a student of the science of civil engineering, I can use the knowledge and skills I will learn in promoting the advocacies of the sorority. By being a civil engineer, I can put into action one of the twin-principles “Paglingkuran ang Sambayanan ng may Dangal”. It’s not that I will work for free, I can serve with honor by being honest and doing my best in every project I do. The society doesn’t just need engineers, for we already have lots of them, what the society needs are honest and ethical engineers who are working for the love of their craft not just for money. Unlike other engineers who work for the sake of profit, I will work to serve the people.
