An Unforgetable Experience in the Chinese University of Hong Kong
The five weeks that I spent in the Chinese University of Hong Kong is a most unforgettable experience. The academic environment in CUHK is dynamic. Students are always encouraged to come up with creative ideas built upon solid theoretical basis. I was doing Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine and International Economics Relations during the summer school. The former one provided us with a great opportunity to learn closely from Chinese medicine practitioners who graduated from CUHK. We had two sessions of compulsory teaching labs and voluntary clinic observation where I gained better knowledge of the subject. The latter one was taught by Prof. Arndt who is the president of the Commons Institute for International Economic Studies. Not only has he taught us the basic theory in understanding international economics relations, but insightful views towards the current financial crisis as well. Apart from the academic aspect, we were exposed to a diverse culture.
