The greatest advantage is our ability to communicate with so many people in so many different places in real time. I am afraid that one of the disadvantages is also in communication in that we now "use" our technology to communicate, using tools such as email, texting etc. has made our exchanges much less personal and can leave people missing some meaning in our conversations.
