Pearl Harbor
The bombing of Pearl Harbor caught the Americans in a complete and utter surprise. The attack took many American lives. The Japanese attacked with torpedoes and bomber planes (“Pearl Harbor Attack”). The Japanese performed an unjustified attack on Pearl Harbor; this event crated turmoil and led the Americans into World War Two. December 7, 1941 is a day in history we will never forget. The Japanese was led by Chuichi Nagumo in the attack on Pearl Harbor. He had previous experience out in the sea and also knew a lot about torpedoes. Despite events occurring that hinted an attack we still had no clue. The morning of the attack a Japanese submarine was spotted by an American destroyer. We shot down the destroyer and thought nothing about the submarine trying to sneak into our naval base (“Pearl Harbor Attack”).
