Handel

. In the first two sets of Idea A in the beginning, he first used a multitude of strings, and then moved into a solo horn . Thus resulting not only in different levels of the sound put off, but also the difference in the sounds heard . The strings created a little louder of a tone at a higher pitch, where the solo horn was much softer and deeper . Through out the whole piece, Handel, mixed the variety of instruments at each idea to create dimension . It seemed by last two ideas Handel incorporated all instruments to create a loud crescendo, presenting a strong finish . I noticed a little bit of pattern towards the middle of the piece, but it definitely began and ended with Idea A . Kind of like a poem, starting the main idea and finishing with it as well . The middle was a repeating pattern of Idea A three times, than Idea B . I thought that even though there were only two ideas, because of Handel’s use of dynamics and timbre, the piece seemed so multi dimensional and different, like more than two ideas existed throughout the whole piece .
