The remake of Madama Butterfly called the Toll of the Sea. 1927 Iron Lung helped patients paralyzed from polio to breathe. Air moved in and out of a chamber with the help of a vacuum pump. The lungs were inflated and the patients stayed in the iron till they recovered from polio.
