Hearing ability is an important part of human’s life. Hearing ability gives an individual chances to feel the world by listening its sounds. Moreover, Hearing ability is also one of the most important human’s senses because it provides humans the ability to receive necessary information from the world so that they can improve their intelligence. For those, who are unfortunate, are impossible to hear because of hearing loss disorders. They can find help from cochlear implant devices to replace their defected hearing ability. Cochlear implant devices are the most common medical solution for patients with hearing problems, especially in patients with congenital deaf. Most of patients with congenital deaf are lost their hearing ability completely. Their hearing loss is mostly greater than 100 decibels (dB), which is a challenge for others hearing aid devices (BMJ, 1999). For this reason, cochlear implant devices are the best choice for patients with congenital deaf. Cochlear implant treatment applied to congenital deaf children helps them a lot in improvement their intelligence, specially their speech and language skills. Cochlear implant devices work well with hearing loss involves damage to the structures inside the cochlea. The damages can be caused by many reasons- for example by exposure to intense sounds or by metabolic disturbances or by infection or by allergies as a result of genetic factors (Moore, 1998).
