Now, countries have started using media as a tool to exercise a psychological imperialistic power by making away the youth of Pakistan from its religious culture via electronic media. ... When asked to a manager working in a multinational company as what is the role of media in exploiting our socio-religious culture through various Urdu-language TV channels other than the Pakistani channels (specifically the Indian channels). He said that since media can play a prominent role in changing the political, social and cultural environment of any country, therefore, it does have an impact on the social culture of our country as well.
