Lady MacBeth is a very ambition driven women, once she found out about her husbands promotion to ‘Thane of Cawdor’ she was very excited, emotional and most of all very happy for her husband. When Lady MacBeth found out that her husband MacBeth could one day be king she became driven by ambition to kill king Duncan. Lady MacBeth kept on pushing and bullying MacBeth into killing Duncan. Lady MacBeth came up with all these devilish plots in ways to kill the king. ... ’ this quote taking from the play really describes MacBeth I think that it means that she was the person behind the killing that nobody would expect.
