Thursday, May 30, 2002. It was about 6:30 pm. BYU-HAWAII C.A.C.-My High School Graduation has begun and changed a lot in my life. After the ceremony and Project grad the whole life I only knew was over the door has closed and I was lost, scared, confused, and on my own. When Mrs. Sawai called my name “Hokukapuuwailani Kawena Jenkins” I thought back to when I was maybe in the first grade, and back then I thought I would always be in elementary and I would never grow up. But I was wrong, there I was waiting to receive my diploma (well at least the diploma case, you pick the real thing up a week later at the school). After we got our dilopmas as a class for the last time sang our Alma Matter. Then instead of walking out row by row to go to the field to receive our leis we all rushed down and ran out.
