Hypothesis Defined, a cult is a system of religious worship consisting of admiration of or devotion to a person or thing. The cult the Charles Manson’s Family specifically has it’s own strategies to influence individuals, their family and the community. This group influenced the individuals by brainwashing them with their own negative views, values and beliefs about the society during that time. This results in outrageous attitudes and violent actions towards others and in many cases they end up harming themselves. This cult can have a harmful effect on the family. It causes isolation and disagreements between family members, arise conflict and stress in the relationships. The Charles Manson Family has elevated fear within the community. Members would disown them because of their absurd views of war.
