1. 2. Since I began the core 11 unit my conscousness has been raised and I tend to notice racial situations much more then I would have before. A very recent situation that presented itself to me was happened about a month and a half ago. John Lambert, David Mintz and Andrew Kim were all sleeping over that evening. We had just arrived back at my house from a party, to find my little brother and his friends playing basketball in my front yard. We decided to play with them, the game went well at first until one of my brothers friends called Andrew Kim a “chink.” We all stopped suddenly and told him to shut-up. Another one of my brothers friends did the same thing and a few more verbal threats were made on our part.
