I see Euripides Medea as a woman who stand up for herself she is not a woman who is multifaceted. The kind behavior that Medea show was very rare those times, she doesn・t take the change in her life, she does something about it. On other hand, Medea becomes so angry she lost herself to revenge. This makes me think that she is hero and clever but not many-sided character. And we can evidence back up this point of view. Medea・s revenge begins when she find out about her husbands not loyal to her. Medea・s husband Jason decide marry princess Glauce to get power in Corinth. Jason say he did it so Medea and their two sons have better living. Jason do not tell to Medea of his plans. Medea, who has marry life to Jason, is angry when she finds out. Media do not accept Jason・s betrayal and her own shame, she revenge. Medea is hero and clever. Medea say right words to Creon to stay in Corinth. Medea set her plan for revenge when King Creon come kick her from Corinth. Prove by this; :Media: This one day let me stay to settle some plan for my two sons, since their own father is not concerned to help them.
