Langston Hughes
During the Harlem renaissance, Langston Hughes was a voice at the heart of the peace movement. Hughes writings, especially his poetry started a focus on racial distinctions in society. Langston Hughes beliefs influenced other writers to expose racial hatred in society, some ideas from Hughes that were reflected upon other writers were that race plays a part in everything, an added idea is that reintegration should have taken place during the time, And lastly that there is time for a change in society to take place.
