Meanwhile, eChinaChem’s US based staff are already working with large US buyers to assess their purchasing needs. eChinaChem’s initial revenue will actually come from traditional off-line trading that does not even use the Internet.
So eChinaChem is a lot more than a match maker. What eChinaChem’s founders are actually building is an Internet enabled trading company that intends to get margins and commissions that are lower than those of existing trading companies but still far higher a match maker’s.
