In order to pursue a career in accounting you will be required to have a bachelor’s degree in accounting. However, some employers prefer those with a master’s degree in accounting or a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. Additionally, if you are preparing for a career in public accounting must pass the Uniform CPA examination to qualify for a CPA certificate and license to practice public accounting.
