Lara’s Three Lovers In the movie, Dr. Zhivago, there was a great deal of confusion. An example would be the life of a woman named Lara. She was a complicated person and had many mixed emotions throughout the movie. She had three lovers, Victor Komarovsky, Pasha Antipov, and Yuri Zhivago. The lives of these four people created a story that resulted in relationships where each person ended up alone. Victor is a very wealthy man who had been dating Lara’s mother, Amalia. Lara falls in love with Victor after he gives her much attention. They spend much time together and an affair begins. This continued until Lara’s mother finds out and commits suicide by overdosing on medication. When the doctor arrives to take care of Lara’s mother, Victor gives the doctor many excuses and lies about why her mother took her own life, but he knows that it was because of the affair with Lara. With Yuri watching, Victor tells Lara that their relationship must end. Although Lara is upset, he leaves to attend a party. Later, Lara shows up at the party, with a gun, and shoot Victor, but he does not die. Later in the story, Victor returns to Lara’s house to take her and her child to a safe place, but she refuses to go.
