... There are more problems prevalent in society such as the overpopulation in prisons. In my mind, overpopulation in prisons is a main problem for society to deal with. The prisons are chock full of criminals that are using up America’s tax money and space that could be used for real estate, cities, parks, etc. ... It will free up all the prisons in the United States, which can be later turned into hospitals, offices, Johansen High School, and other useful buildings that will be enjoyed by the public and not by the scum of society in prison. ... It will not be a public eyesore like the prisons are. ... This is both cost effective and solves overpopulation in prisons. ... Also, the leftover prisons will become public buildings and will be rented out, rejuvenating the area around the prison. ... Nearly five percent of the working man or woman’s income is spent on prisons. ... This proposal will reduce the taxes spent on prisons to nearly two percent. ... My proposal is also far better than the current system of prisons. These prisons take up too much space and require too much tax money, among other problems with the current system.
