BawatTao was a very interesting play, full of conflicts and peculiar characters that help bring about a very powerful message. The main character, BawatTao, was portrayed as being a sinful person set on a journey of redemption after having been confronted by Death herself (or himself). He finds himself allies in the form of his Good Deeds, his Strength, Beauty, Knowledge and Intelligence, but all except for his Good Deeds abandon him along his journey. In the end, he finds redemption and receives God’s forgiveness. BawatTao represents the kind of life any person may have; living as if there was no tomorrow but striving to change once the end is near.
